This was on a featured shelf at my library and adorned with a large "Midwest Connections Pick" sticker, but still I worried about a cookbook from a Slow Food person written about the "Midwest" since for some oddball reason, most East Coast types persist in thinking Ohio is the Midwest. I was more than delighted to see that this was not in fact written by an Easterner, but a resident of . . . . Iowa City!
