This was such an entertaining and enjoyable Western. As I’ve found with all of A.A Glynn books that I’ve read so far, he has this amazing ability to pull you into the story. There is plenty of action, and a man that is out for revenge. This always going to make for a good plot. Orde Clemmins and Charlie Curry can’t quite believe their ears when a stranger riding into town with cattle tells them he is moving in next to their boss’s property. Orde and Charlie worked hard for many years hel [...]
I enjoyed the twists and turns this book weaves but to be the person caught in amongst all that zig zagging would most likely leave you with whiplash.I felt for Rod Strang and his father but when Strang returned to farm the land his father lost and to then have to go through all he did i was almost willing him to quit while he was still breathing but I'm glad he didn't. It's a good simple story that's moved along by the complex nature of mans greed. I definitely recommend it to other readers loo [...]
An enjoyable western which kept me turning the pages. Well written with a great plot. Would highly recommend.
Another enjoyable and action packed western and another new author to add to my list.Range war, long standing resentments, and a desire for revenge all combine to provide a fast paced and interesting read. Set during the gun slinging days of the west, The Lonesome Gun is a rip-roaring western adventure that could stand alongside the likes of Zane Grey and Louis L’Amour a statement I totally agree with.Thank you to NetGalley and Endeavour Press for a digital ARC of Lonesome Gun in exchange for [...]
