3.5 for me. Good story, good execution, but was just a little too long. I felt that a lot of filler dialogue could've been cut. Enjoyable read nonetheless!

Love this storyThis is the first book I've read by this author and I really enjoyed it. I love how the characters started out as work associates, friends then lovers. The readers get a chance to know the characters as individuals and what motivates them to be who or how they view life before they got together.

3.5/5.0“Sweet Jazz” revisits an era when Jazz was popular. The acceptance of this art music didn’t dismantle color barriers.Read full review in the 2015 February issue of InD’tale Magazine.
