3.5 StarsI DID like this book, but I swear it could have also been titled "The Big Dumb Miscommunication that Drives the Reader Nucking Futs."Seriously, we have ALL read books like this. Books where one simple, tiny conversation could have legit solved every problem.Books where lack of one said conversation results in YEARS of heartache and bullshit for the characters - in this case sixars, that is.Books where you spend the ENTIRE thing saying, JUST. FUCKING. TALK. ABOUT. ALREADY. Geeeeez. In th [...]

I enjoyed this authors paranormal books and a few of her contemporaries but I feel she's now over stretching herself. She's becoming too prolific. She rushes to release more and more books and has quite a few series going on at the same time. She's a good author so I'm sorry to give yet another book in this series a negative review but these are just too rushed. If she had taken time over the storylines they would have been really good.Firstly there are too many similar names all starting with t [...]

OMGI can not get enough of The Sterling Boys.Just when I think I have found my favorite one, another ones comes along and changes my mind. I also love the women in these storiesrong, independent, and easy to like. Keep them coming C.M. Owens!!!!!!!!

What a waste of time

Possibly my favourite so far. Dane is just amazing, and all the struggle Rain was facing was admirable. I am gotta keep this short because I have to go order the next book😜Read: 23/06/2017Will I recommend?: Yes!

Love those Sterling BoysI have yet to be disappointed with this series. I am loving the Sterling Boys and Dane and Rain did not disappoint. I can't wait for Tria and Kode's story. Keep them coming!!!

Another great romance story from C.M. Owens. This book was equal parts frustrating and amazing. I loved the characters and it was great to see the brotherly relationship between Rain and the guys.

Found myself incredibly annoyed with this storyline. I loved the first two books in this series. I was so disappointed to find myself skimming and skipping whole chapters just to find something that would reel me back in. I just couldn't get there. Just one conversation between the h and H could have saved them so much heartache and lost time. Manup, grow some balls and communicate.

Worst of the series. Major disappointment

Dane and Rain's story. Some of this boys names in this series is a little crazy.metimes hard to keep up with - but still a great story!

I enjoyed reading the first book of this series "Hooked on the Game", the main characters were still in college, but Kade already works for his future by using his parties to increase his network and not hooking up with potential future customers. Now we have five Sterling boys all circling around Rain, protecting and supporting her for five years in highschool and staying in contact during college and beyond for the next six years. The plot was good, one misunderstanding let to estrangement with [...]

I think I should preface this review with the fact that I absolutely love C.M. Owens (if you don't believe me look at my other reviews). But, this book fell short of what I expected. I obviously liked the idea of the Sterling Boys series (since I'm at book 3), but I honestly couldn't keep reading the series after this book.Perhaps if I started with this series rather than the other CM Owens series, then I would have felt differently :)

I enjoyed it.

Good book - 5 stars - and best proposal ever: "I plan to punish you by making you spend the rest of your life with me. Your vows will promise that you won't ever run away from me again. You'll promise to let me make you happy in ways only I can. Everyday you'll have to let me touch you, hold you, and love you while I remind you how fucking much you mean to me. And you'll listen, believe it, and trust me."You won't ever face anything alone, because I'll always be there. You'll be forced to smile [...]

The first thing I want to say is C.M. Owens is an exceptional writer! I say this because, she knows how to tell a story and captivate your heart in the process. I enjoyed this book soo much it is hard to put into exact words. Rain is has been included with the family of the Sterlings and has grown close to the boys while growing up. She is like one of them, but yet she is a girl that they care deeply about. She has had so many things happen to her, because of her family history that she has a mas [...]

'3,75 i'm so sick of lack of communication stars'.It took me a while to get used to this one. Lack of Communication is always a nay nay for me. It drives me insane when problems exist only because PEOPLE DO NOT TALK, it's frustrating and the drama is so thick I almost threw my baby (AKA Kindle) through the window. Which is not a good thing. I'm giving this one 3,75 stars because I loved the H and the way he loves the h, and all the Sterling Boys are something else, but the drama was just too muc [...]

4 This is starting to be a problem for me series stars :DHonestly, I am glad I left the series alone till now to read, since I can just as easily icky up the next book since I seem to be flying through the. I am also a little sad. Since I missed out on reading this great series earlier and also cause I know I'm going to finish reading what has been released eventually :(Ok, so the review, or well my take on the book, since I'am not sure you can call what I write here a review :) anyway this book [...]

I like the series and all but I was a bit mad with this book. I thought Tag and Ash had issues with communication…. Dude this book actually pushed them out of the top… Dane and Rain are like the parents of it! Seriously…. I know there was an event that prevented them from being together after highschool but they proved to be seriously dumb because the lack of talk and some huge amount of dumbass pride kept them apart for 5 years…Rain suffered throughout the book, she faced really sad mom [...]

Ah where to start.Rain's "boys" had a dynamic going on that just kept you reading in amusement to find out what they would get caught up in next. She was the mother hen of the group, always making excuses for their behaviour and never making them stand on their own two feet, but she enjoyed it in a way; it made her feel like family; Rain has never really felt like family to anyone other than her boys.Dane. Ah, Dane. So much missed time, so many lost opportunities. I love this kind of story, and [...]

I loved everything about this book what a heartbreaking thing to go through for Rain which I love that name by the way. This story is about young love but miscommunication plays a part in this book. Two people are hurt not understanding why the other one acted the way they did. Rain to me is such a phenomenal woman who is simply so giving and caring it's impossible for you not to love her. Kode this guy could have anyone but his heart only belongs to one and he gave it to her when he was 13. Not [...]

I soooooooo love the Sterling Boys!! Dale, Corbin, Maverick, And Kobe they are all the brothers many girls which (and sometimes cursed) they had. Mess with Rain if you want too! They were frigging HILARIOUS! Dane and Rain were such a cute couple. It sucks that they wasted six year and a letter that's up in the air. They were kids, they didn't know any better (shoot I've done the letter thing). Then finding their way back to each other was the sweetest thing ever! Rain going through her issues we [...]

Woohoo we get to see more of the mysterious Dane that in the previous books we only saw glimpses of. Rain she was a joy I mean the girl had some hands on dreams, "the smooth, slick erection I was feeling in my dreams is in my hand, which is inside Dane's boxers—the man of my dreams who is stiff, wide-eyed, and completely shocked. "I'm so sorry!" The girl is also adventurous, "Can I really have sex in the country club? Is that a little cheap? Eff it. "We should lock the door," I murmur against [...]

I found myself being a bit frustrated with the main characters. It was nice reading more about the characters from the series but by their actions were a little unrealistic.

Despite this being the Sterling Shore series this is the first of the books that is centred around one of the Sterling men. Yes men, because there is not a single thing about any of them that screams "boy"."Dane Sterling. The epitome of perfection."Dane, the unofficial leader of the group, has been in love with his best friend Rain since they were kids. When she moved away to New York however their friendship appeared to crumble, with them not keeping in touch and not able to talk about each oth [...]

I usually don't like this whole from best friends to lovers trope. Or this whole I was in live with this girl but when I was just 18 I just didn't have the guts to tell her and vice versa. Why don't they just ACT on their freaking feelings?? God damn itAnd this book? My god Dane It's so hard to like a guy like him Best friend leaves for College and he loves her but doesn't even stop her from leaving. Or just fucking kiss her before that?? Why??? Just why?? And all of that just because of her cli [...]

Book 3 definitely pulled at the heart strings!Rain and the Stirling boys have always had a close relationship and were there for her before going through a procedure not teenager should, however afterwards she is left with a broken heart by Dane. Years later Rain makes the decision to move back hoping to get her writing back on track while avoiding Dane, but alas the other Stirling boys know they are meant to be together. I got frustrated at Rain for being selfish at times by not letting on what [...]

Very disappointing. The series started well, got a little less interesting on the next, but this one is the one that will make me stop. The story setting and characters start well but then these seemingly adults running businesses and building clinics think, act and sound like immature pre-teens. Basic drama and reasoning, very little story development. I read romance, I'm nit too difficult but it took me 3 stop and go's to finish! The author needs to give more substance to her stories and chara [...]

I really liked this one. I was happy to finally start getting to know the Sterling boys. I also adored the MCs and enjoyed that this book was a little deeper and more emotional. I still don’t like the miscommunication issues and hope that isn’t a theme in every book of the series, but definitely recommend!

I started reading this series after I started with "how to Tame a maverick" I loved that book and hunted down the rest of the series as I loved all the sterlings involved in the book. What a gold mine.! The humour, the sexy alpha males, sassy women, usually a bit of drama. I've absolutely devoured the series.! It's a must read, get all the books, you won't be disappointed .!
