This book is about sixteen year old Summer who after her final exams of her sophomore year is off to spend the summer in Dallas with her grandparents and to help out on their ranch. Like most teens, she is not happy that her parents have made decisions for her, like having to go to her grandparents separating her from her friends who they usually vacation with their families and not being able to date until she is an adult. I had a little trouble getting into the story because of the teen angst, but the plot quickly won me over. Summer In Dallas is a good read. Summer is an awkward teen at the beginning of the story, which I believe everyone can relate to. She has to decide between two former best friends.Barrett has a complicated past, filled with pain and loss. He copes by forming a powerful bond with a sick horse. Marshall seems like a nice guy, though he's surrounded by lies. This is a very emotional story. Lov [...]

This was a sweet romance and no naughtiness so if some of you guys like YA then this is a good read. Barrett I liked him, "good. Now, come here and give me some hot kisses." Barrett bulled me onto his lap and took one hand and put it behind my neck and pulled my head toward his. As we kissed, I put my good hand under his shirt." Now ladies I said there was no naughtiness but there was some steamy scenes. Barrett is always trying to reassure his girl, "baby, you listen; you go home and hang with [...]

New Adult-teenage romance!New Adult/teen romance!! No where did I see that, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it! Summer is a 16yr girl, who is forced to go to her grandparent's farm for the summer. Typical teenage drama soon happens, with a little bit of true adult problems added in.

Yikes! I can't believe I read the whole book. The dialog was so awful and the story was back and forth and back again. The main character spent half the story crying. Not worth the read.a
