This book is the cat's meow!

“His voice barely more than a whisper, he added, “I love you.” Sandstorm’s eyes glowed. “I love you too, Fireheart,” she whispered.”There is much left to be desired in this instalment of the series. Characters I loved previously became frustrating, the story dragged, and the climax of the whole thing was far from exciting. Nothing seemed to go well for Thunderclan (or Fireheart for that matter) and the final death in the book was almost a relief for me, although somewhat sad. Sadde [...]

This book was full of mystery and up and down romance. Now that Fireheart has found out that his enemy, Tigerstar, has gained leadership over ShadowClan. Fireheart is very frightened that this will destroy the forest, but a threat has come to the forest that no cat could ever dream of. But now that Fireheart thinks he knows what the threat is his only problem is getting Bluestar to listen to what he has to say. Many things happen in this book, but it was my FAVORITE of the series!!!!!!

What went wrong?Up till now, the Warriors series has been entertaining despite a few flaws (such as problems conveniently being solved in a second, leaving no real sense of trouble or complication). But never has it been as mediocre in terms of plot and character as A Dangerous Path!Let me enumerate the main problems I found. Firstly, Bluestar. Yes, Bluestar has endured a serious shock. Yes, she’s going through a hard time. Yes, it’s ‘normal’ for her to be traumatised, mistrustful and di [...]

something is in the forest and Fireheart doesn't know what it is. Bluestar thinks that it is windclan steeling prey and she declares a fight. Fireheart found a way to stop it. Bluestar thinks every one in the clan is a traiter except for Fireheart until he stoped the fight. Riverclan tries to take part of thunderclans territory but thunderclan wont allow it. they start to fight. During the fight Bluestar tells mistyfoot and stonefur the truth that they were her kits and she gave them to rivercla [...]

I really feel like Children's books of this genre didn't used to be so terrifying and stressful. As a child (and obviously still presently) I always read a lot of animal-themed books, and while many of them were frightening and dealt with themes maybe not present in other children's books (or books encouraged for children) I feel like they were on a different emotional level than what's being put out today. I think what it comes down to is no children's author has successfully created the overwh [...]

moment of silent for bluestarI HATED HOW ANNOYING SHE WAS IN THIS BOOK but it was sad when she died because she finally understood that her clan really loved her!TIGERSTAR HAS GOT TO GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!evilllllllllllllllllllllll lol but i hate him for now on! and i agree if jacob or edward dies in twilight then i will also die!(please dont let it be JACOB I LOVE HIM!)

Second read: September 15-19, 2017 I knew what the end of this book brought; it was sad, but it needed to happen for the sake of Thunder Clan. On to the next book and the epic battle that looms in the distance. First read: August 10-11, 2009 (view spoiler)[It's so sad about Bluestar dieing, just as she gets it together she dies. I am glad Graystripe is back though, then at least Fireheart (or should I say Firestar) won't be sneaking across the Riverclan border anymore. :-) I can't wait to get my [...]

lmao i can’t believe i forgot about bluestar’s whole “you’re all traitors and StarClan is evil” nihilist phase, it’s A Lotlike imagine if dumbledore had spent the entirety of Order of the Phoenix in a paranoid haze, talking about how magic didn’t exist and all of hogwarts was against himbut then also dumbledore is a sentient catthat’s what this is like

IM SORRY THAT THIS REVIEW HAS SPOILERS D:Fireheart is the new ThunderClan deputy, and he finds himself taking on more responsibility because his leader Bluestar is mentally and physically ill. To add-on top of that there is Tigerstar, the leader of ShadowClan, and the pack of dogs running wild in the forest. Also his leader, Bluestar, now thinks that everyone in the clan is a traitor, even Fireheart himself. She thinks that StarClan itself has abandoned her. And again she accuses that WindClan i [...]

Finished! Need book 6! and It was sad when bluestar diedd the packpack! kill kill! thing was scary.

The write up for this book expresses the love the author feels for the natural world, and the wonder towards what cats think as they look out the window watching the world go by. I found this book a bit slow through the first half but muddled on because I finally started becoming interested in what was going to happen to the the main character and his clan. I am sorry to say that the plot seemed weak and the writing style was less than it should be. This book is suppose to be for children in the [...]

ShadowClan has chosen Tigerclaw--now called TigerStar--as their new leader, and Fireheart fears that his old enemy still harbors dark plans for vengeance on his former clan.In this book, Bluestar dies, and Firestar becomes leader. [We all knew this would happen, seriously!]

Awesomely awesome!

My poor heart! D:

The book, A Dangerous Path is about four different clans made up of cats who live in the forest. The clans are called ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, and ShadowClan. The main character is a tabby cat with firey-red fur named Fireheart. He is part of ThunderClan. Every cat must be loyal to their clan and their leader and fight to risk their lives for their clan. In A Dangerous Path the ThunderClan leader suspects WindClan for trespassing and stealing their prey. However, Fireheart, the deputy o [...]

And the final important 'death' comes at the very end of this book *sobs*. Bluestar dies :( A pack of wild dogs are in ThunderClan territory, ready to attack anything that comes in thier way. Tigerstar manages to 'tame' them, by feeding them rabbits. Bluestar thinks that the apprentices can't be trusted, so when she only makes Cloudpaw/Cloudtail a warrior, Brightpaw and Swiftpaw decide to prove thier loyalty by hunting down the dogs. This was a MASSIVE mistake. Swiftpaw dies, and Brightpaw just [...]

Have you ever had a loss that scarred you for life? This book is about Tigerstar's horrible ambitions to revenge thunderclan, the tragic result scars fireheart and the clans for a long time. Things are going to change greatly in all the clans. As the dark plans start to come together the forest is going to be blood-stained. One thing i really like about this book is that there is always darkness hidden in places that are quite closer that imagined, the mystery is unfolding. this book always urged [...]

Totally five stars! The best out of all the warriors so far that I've read. The story begins with Bluestar her insane self after Tigerclaw betrays the clan as Fireheart predicted. Once Bluestar is at peace again the clan has no time to be thankful due to the BloodClan battle that Tigerstar has wrongly arranged. The clans will have to uniteonce more to defeat the evil leaders. This book may not be as epic but touching and truely a warriors life. It shows that when then chips are done, all you hav [...]

Originally read in December 2010.Re-read September 1 ~ 10, 2013.********SPOILERS************REVIEW IS FOR PERSONAL NOTATION ONLY.******(view spoiler)[Tigerstar's first book as Shadowclan's leader, he attempts to lead a dog pack to Thunderclan's camp, makes Darkstripe his lackey, and attempts to kitnap his children. Bluestar reveals her secret to her children and dies happily knowing she has their forgivness. (hide spoiler)]

After the rather bland fourth book, a really strong story follows, probably the best in the series so far. Fireheart deals with a paranoid-delusional clan leader who thinks they're at war with Star Clan Cloudpaw develops an atheistic attitude towards the cats in the stars there are some nicely developed interfeline relationships here, while the story rollicks along at a very fast pace and ends in a quite satisfying (though a bit manipulative, emotionally) way.

This book was in my opinion was not very entertaining just like the last one. I did not like the fact that Bluestar started to be nasty to her clan and the other leaders of the forest. I did not like Dog Pack and what happened to Brightpaw. I read the next one just to see what happened. I have to say that I think the next book was much better.

Tigerstar is on the loose!!! Upon being killed the clans enter turmoil and grief! If you don't read this after reading the others then your a baka. Really good series still. Friggin' better then Harry Potter and the Alanna books!

SOOOOOOOOO worth the read!!! At least two deaths, one of them UNBELIEVABLY SAD!!!!! Tigerstar, now the leader of Shadowclan, has some dark schemes that he puts into action and the book takes a sudden turn for a dark ending. However, we will see what happens in the next book:)

This book had such a sad ending! I was happy though to see Bluestar die with Fireheart and her two kits(Mistyforot and Stonefur). All in all this was the perfect book and I sadly don't own a copy of the 6th book! NEED. IT. NOW!

This is a sad book Bluestar, Swiftpaw, Snowkit die. Brightpaw is renamed Lostface when attacked by a dog that killed her brother Swiftpaw she lost her eye and ear. Cloudpaw gets his name Cloudtail. Snowkit is eaten by a hawk. And Bluestar drowns.
