Anansi is a very greedy spider so his friends invite him to lunch and he agrees to have lunch with all of them, on the same day. Anansi ties a string around his waist so his friend ( a hippo, an elephant and a zebra) can tug it and let him know that lunch is ready. Anansi did not expect lunch would be ready at the same time and found himself being pulled this way and that way as his friends tugged on the string.
