I'm a sucker for the romance part of a PNR and was getting very impatient for that part to start, but when it did the story became really enjoyable. Rose kinda drove me crazy with her immaturity, judgement's, and assumptions. Being in her head wasn't so bad though, I think her relationships helped. I liked her relationship with her father and the guys from his shop, they were all equally protective of her and her father was a lot of fun and seemed pretty cool, although if you asked Rose she woul [...]
Great read!Liked the fact that it reminded me of 'Hush Hush' in the beginning. Specifically Hayden. That's what kept me going!
SweetI enjoyed this story, kind of wish there was more. Would love to keep following Rose and Hayden's adventure, dealing with FADE.
This is one intriguing YA fantasy. How can a normal (usually) young girl get tracked by a monster that only appears to be human, and find another, very much like him, who is willing to come to her rescue? But there are problems with this knight. He is dangerous to touch; he has the personality of a troll; and he is very far from human. Furthermore, he has a past that includes murder. Was he the perpetrator? Then even stranger things begin to happen, and Rose finds herself knee-deep in a world she [...]
I really enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down! Rose is such a connectable person and so easily relatable with her thoughts and feelings. I also love Hayden, he's a very unique character, I've never read about anyone like him when it comes to his hidden side (though that maybe just because I haven't read enough books yet though I'm still working on it lol). I honestly and sincerely hope there will be more books to this series because I am definitely not ready for their story to end!
I really liked A Taste of Silver. I was somewhat disappointed at how it ended. I realize that the author left it like that for a sequel but why would you start the next book then stop to write another book. So for now I will wait patiently for the next book to be finished, and hope the author doesn't take her time.
It was slow to start with. I enjoyed the camping trip and how The prejudice towards Hayden began to fall. I really desire to see what happens with Ida and Hayden. I also wonder what Adrian intends to do to Rose. I wonder if Paul's rare absence had anything to do with FADE. Hmmm. And Rachel.ce twist. let's just sayI'm looking forward to the next book.
Loved this book. It started kind of slow but picked up. I love the new twist on faeries. I especially loved the part where Rachel made an appearance definitely didnt see that part coming. Hoping that there will be more from hayden and Rose
It kept my attention till I finished it in a matter of days. (1 or 2 days) I enjoyed this book because it was creepy and paranormal and those are the books that keep me enjoying it till the end. Though it rushes through things a little bit, it is the best book.
At first I thought Rose was a brat then it grew on me especially when she introduced bad boy Hayden. I was really upset when they went on the camping trip and everyone treated him like a leper. Silver feathers and poison blood were a great touch . good read
Story was ok The ending wasn't what I had pictured Not even a kiss til' the event at the end A little unbelievable
A well written contemporary paranormal read for older YA. The first in a series however stands alone, this story is full of drama and emotions.
An okay book, if one is looking for a way to kill time, but it is nothing special. the story is sweet an romantic, but not anything but that
A modern day romance with scary moments and sweet ones with that splash of unrealistic fantasy which makes it so good.
I really enjoyed this book. It had a really well-written story line and the ending was quite good as well.
could not finish so boring
